Hiscores increase to 1 Million Posted by Seiferoth
Posted at 26th August 2005, 4:07AM (GMT +1000)
Taken from RuneScape.com:
As more players join our community it has been getting gradually harder to get into the hiscores. Therefore we have increased our hiscores to contain the top 1,000,000 players in each skill!
This means more people should now be able to take part in the hiscores and see how they compare with their friends.
Note: If you are not already listed you will not appear in the hiscores until you next logout. You also still need a minimum of 30 in a skill to be listed.

Blast Furnace Posted by Seiferoth
Posted at 24th August 2005, 0:34AM (GMT +1000)
Taken From RuneScape.com:
The Mining Consortium in Keldagrim has finally completed work on its Blast Furnace, the pinnacle of Dwarven engineering and the most efficient ore-processing machine in RuneScape. But the Consortium is suffering from a shortage of workers, so any visitors who want to use it must get their hands dirty!
Players who are prepared to work together can gain experience in a variety of skills and smelt ore with only half the coal required by a regular furnace.

An update has been made to the RANGER and WARRIOR sigs. The backgrounds for each of these sigs were very very light and hard to read with white levels and text. The colors have been temporarily (possibly permanently?) changed on these sigs.
Enjoy
RuneWeb now offers class sigs once again. Featuring both male and female choices. Currently we have Warrior, Ranger and Mage signatures and possibly may release more in the future. Click below to see them:
The New Signatures
Huge thanks to Vulcan for coding the signatures and I hope you all enjoy our updated releases.
The new sigs can now be used on boards which do not allow dynamic images. The URL for your sig will be:
If you are still confused about new URLs, head over to the Signature Creation page to get your URL.
Note: The old URLs work too, but we are trying to move everyone over to the new URL. Thanks

Taken From RuneScape.com:
Ali Morrisane, despite his recent foray into the aeronautical transport business and the numerous litigations which Gnome Air filed against him to the Supreme Rune Court as a result, has found himself twiddling his entrepreneurial thumbs again. This time, aspirations of becoming RuneScape's first super stall proprietor are causing him sleepless nights. Have you got what it takes to aid this rogue trader?
Ready yourself to traverse the vast Kharidian desert and further afield to engineer business concessions. Successful adventurers will reap the rewards of Ali M's expanded business empire, with access to new shopping opportunities. A word to those hot-headed adventurers in our midst, this is not a job for the addle minded or the empty headed, so prepare to lay down your wands and weapons and take up to the challenge of some RuneScape's most brutal brain bogglers.
